HOW TO GET HERE?

Air

"Prepaid taxis" are the most convenient way to travel from the airport to the ashram. In the international airport, passengers can find the prepaid counter after walking past the customs office. There is also a prepaid counter located outside the national airport.

Rail

Passengers coming by train will arrive either at the Chennai Central station or the Egmore station. Suburban railways run from Park station (located opposite Chennai Central) to Guindy station and from Egmore station to Guindy. One can take an autorickshaw or a bus from Guindy station to the Ashram.

Road

Bus transportation from Guindy to the Ashram: The 54-series and the 88-series lines both run to Ramavaram (MGR Gardens). Bus #54RR and #54B stop at the Ashram gate.
